The I Will Pledge
ELGEVITY LLC is proud to be one of the first organizations to take the I Will Prevent Elder Abuse Pledge.
Those who take the I Will Pledge make elder abuse prevention a personal commitment.
That personal commitment is realized by:
- a promise of trust,
- an assurance to educate others about elder abuse, and
- an assertion to know when and how to report suspected elder abuse.
The "I Will Prevent Elder Abuse" campaign is a priority initiative of the Maricopa County Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (MEAPA) and the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, Inc. Maricopa is the most densly populated county in Arizona and the Agency provides innovative services for many, including, but not limited to, the elder population.
Of course, MEAPA and the Area Agency on Aging are not in a position to endorse companies that make the pledge. They are a valued resource and can provide support information to help companies fulfill their commitment and stand by their pledge.
